Day 20- Branding I’ve worked hard to create my brand. I created my logo from my own work and applied that to my business cards, stickers for frames, and have a stamp for all my packages. As for my style, I prefer simple designs with clean lines. I love creating custom art pieces. It can sometimes be challenging, but the satisfaction of creating something personal and unique that reflects a persons interests is worthwhile and so gratifying. #quilling #amonthinpaper #amonthinpaperday20 #branding #brand #quillingfun #paperart #inspiration #allmyown #beyourself #paperartistcollective #etsyshop #etsyseller #etsyartist #madefrompaper #paperlove

Another Ornament for Christmas

I found some more ornaments in my closet of craft stuff while cleaning this summer.  Obviously my cleaning didn't get very far being so delighted with my new discovery!  I found a cute clip art a while back of some holly leaves, so I thought about how I could do it inside the ornament.  After a few minutes, I was ready to start.  After gluing two leaves together, I gently pushed them inside.  I then used a plastic butter knife to keep them lying flat and let them dry.  I then added the third leaf.

Quilled Horseback Rider

I have a close friend who has trusted me to create several pieces for her and this was one of them. It makes me happy to have a new challenge and this was indeed one. I used a photo given to me as a reference and quilled atop a print out of it. I have the photo cut out in my pocket protector and am quilling on top of it careful not to glue the paper to the plastic. I use straight pins to hold it together until it dries. Here I’ve taken the quilled rider and horse off of the styrofoam backing and added to a background I added of layered trees. Here’s the final piece…

Quilled Ballerina

Quilled Ballet,  Dancer I wanted to try something challenging and I saw a picture of a ballerina that I thought might be the one. Well, here it is....I used a combination of beehive and regular quilling. This is in honor of my daughter turning 13 today! Happy Birthday!!! Quilled Ballerina Quilled Ballerina
