New Quilling Techniques I am Trying...

I found a couple of new techniques of quilling that I wanted to try and here is what I've done. This first one is using a regular comb. I learned this from Anastasia Wahalatantiri in a you tube video m.youtube.com/watch?v=BaGkdyzIQE4

Quilling lately...

Quilled dragonfly Quilled dog; quilled puppy Quilled rose I have been practicing a little more quilling and would like to show some pictures of what I've created. I have become infatuated with all kinds of paper objects! Quilled butterfly Quilled flower

Benjie loves watching t.v.

Our dog is a Pomchi. He is a mix of a Pomeranian and chihuahua. He is such a trip! He loves to watch tv when he's not being rowdy or sleeping. When we were watching a western show, he went crazy when he saw horses....

Great Idea for Easter Egg Hunts...

It's the day after Easter and speaking to my neighborhood gal pals, one told me what she did with her girls. Sheer genius... You know. One of those "why didn't I think of that" kind of moments! With money being kind of tight, we have been looking for creative ways to do what we normally would've done. She began to describe what she put into her girls Easter Eggs... Coupons for special things like a pass for the front seat, doughnuts one morning for breakfast, one on one time with a parent, I mean the list went on and on. How simple yet so much more meaningful than candy that just might lead to a trip to the dentist! What a wonderful idea!!! Just wanted to share it....

Easter Egg Dyed With Crayons....

This Easter we dyed eggs with various ways. The first was with shaving cream and food coloring. The next used crayons and food coloring. Another technique involved rubber bands and food coloring with a candle on one. The kids have a blast and it's fun seeing the end results!

Hmmm... New Nail Polish Color

I went to Target the other day for some Easter ideas and I found this beautiful shade of nail polish by Revlon. It's 441 radiant and it just reminded me of our water in the pool. I needed something for a boost and when I look at this color it reminds me of summer break and relaxing by the pool!

Messina Acacia Hardwood Floors...

We just had the most beautiful flooring put in by Metro Flooring out of Oveido, Florida. They are Bella Cera and the wood is an engineered Acacia. The color is Messina and it has completely transformed our formal dining and living room areas. Thanks for a great install!
