Quilled Mountain Scenes

So one of my favorite things to create are these themed quilled letters. I’ve made a few beach ones as you’ve seen and I’ve also created mountain scenes. I’ve tried to make each one a little unique in its own way for every person that’s requested one…..

Quilled Ballerina

Quilled Ballet, Dancer I wanted to try something challenging and I saw a picture of a ballerina that I thought might be the one. Well, here it is....I used a combination of beehive and regular quilling. This is in honor of my daughter turning 13 today! Happy Birthday!!! Quilled Ballerina Quilled Ballerina

Quilled Pointe Shoe

My daughter took Pointe this year at dance and being the end of the year, I wanted to make a special thank you card for the staff. I drew the outline for the shoe and then filled the spaces with 1/8 width quilling paper.

Another Ornament for Christmas

I found some more ornaments in my closet of craft stuff while cleaning this summer. Obviously my cleaning didn't get very far being so delighted with my new discovery! I found a cute clip art a while back of some holly leaves, so I thought about how I could do it inside the ornament. After a few minutes, I was ready to start. After gluing two leaves together, I gently pushed them inside. I then used a plastic butter knife to keep them lying flat and let them dry. I then added the third leaf.
