Quilled Valentines Day Gift Tag

This is the latest gift tag from my kit I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I made several fringed flowers using 1/8 width strips of pink paper. I do not have a fringing tool. They are very expensive, but I use a pair of medical scissors that have a very small cut and are narrow enough to not have to worry about cutting all the way through the narrow strip of paper.

Quilled Snowflakes

I am venturing into something different this past week as far as quilling goes. I have looked at many different snowflakes online and decided to buy a kit while I was Hobby Lobby. Here are two that I have made so far. They are more difficult than other things I've done simply because I am having to be careful to keep them symmetrical. They are very detailed and are beautiful once completed...

Crochet your ear buds...

I have seen so many wrapped ear buds lately that I thought I could try to do mine. I had some leftover faux fur yarn from some scarves I had made so I thought I would give it a shot. I did a single crochet all the way until I wanted it to split apart for the ears. How cool they turned out!!!!

Gift Tags Kit from Quilling.com I found at Hobby Lobby

I made a visit to a new and now favorite store-Hobby Lobby in Orange City,Florida. The local Jo-Ann and Michaels do not carry quilling supplies, so I took a chance and drove through the worst summer storm so far and lo and behold they carry them! It's a small section, but they at least had paper, tools, and some kits! Anyway, I found a kit with gift tags so I gave it a try. I will post more as I finish, but I'm having fun!

Quilled Ballerina on Stage

I decided to put my ballerina on stage. After almost finishing the last curtain, I had to switch glue. Unbeknownst to me, it dried white!!!! I almost died! I had to trim the sides to cut off the white glue....anyway, here is what she looks like.
