NOT Just Another Mom

Just for putts and giggles, I made this for one of my hubby’s golfing buddies. I found a neat Fathers Day Card set from SVGCuts which included this amazing card! The svg file is from SVGcuts.com and I used a sizzix “tiny dot” embossing folder for the golf balls. I then created shadows using Dew Drop Brilliance Platinum Planet and Cosmic Copper.

I wanted to share with you one of my Christmas cards for this year. I decided on a lovely card designed by Carole Prevost. I used white card stock and Gold and Cocoa Pearl paper from Cricut. For the top layer of the white card-stock, I embossed it with my Cuttlebug. Here you can see all the pieces ready to be put together. And here they are all put together. I put shaving cream onto a baking sheet and dropped two colors of food coloring, then gently swirled it with my fingers. I then placed the cards down into the shaving cream, picked them up gently and raked the shaving cream off. As you can see, it leaves a tie-dye effect onto the card and then I created some quilling to embellish them. I hope you like the variated swirls!
