Needed Some Sunshine 🌞



Have you ever a week where things were just not going your way and you were so frustrated and tired that your head felt like it was going to explode?  That was this week for me. I'm usually that optimistic up beat person who just goes with the flow and yesterday was just enough where I went home and took a nap. After I woke up, I decided I needed some sunshine so I made some cards using a bright yellow background.  I wanted something simple, so I used a strip of color accented with a single flower. Here is what I came up with- I hope you like 🌞



The third card isn't finished yet, so I'm still working on figuring out the concept...

      Yes, thank you! A good nap and a nights sleep solves a lot of problems! 😋 I think the weather had a lot to do with it as well. Have a wonderful week!

I have a close friend who has trusted me to create several pieces for her and this was one of them. It makes me happy to have a new challenge and this was indeed one. I used a photo given to me as a reference and quilled atop a print out of it. I have the photo cut out in my pocket protector and am quilling on top of it careful not to glue the paper to the plastic. I use straight pins to hold it together until it dries. Quilled Ballerina

Quilled Ballet,  Dancer I wanted to try something challenging and I saw a picture of a ballerina that I thought might be the one.
