NOT Just Another Mom

I am blessed to live in a neighborhood with several neighbors around who have children close to the ages of my own.  The other day, one of my neighbors bought her daughter a new desk and was trying to give her old one away.  I didn't think we had room, but my daughter wanted it!  She had been doing her homework on her bed and the couch and although it was comfy, it's just not practical.  She begged for us to take it, so I relented.  The only problem?  The desk was white and her furniture is all black.  What to do?  I decided to paint it of course! The desk consisted of a desk and small hutch with a cork board strip running across the back.  My friends daughter had written on it and so after thinking how to remedy it, I decided to cover it with fabric.  I will show you the before and after pictures.
